Can’t sleep. Been awake since 5 am. Douglas had some things to say to me yesterday.


He saw Missy at the mall. He said to mom, “you tell her if I see her I will not leave the boys here.” Fucking asshole. Always trying to control everything.


I called the boys at 7 like I always do. He said, “I have a few things to say to you first.” I said, “okay.” He said both boys are borderline diabetic and when he gets them back from me after the mall he checks their blood sugar. He said both of them are over 200 and they are usually around 90. I said, “Douglas, why haven’t you told me this before.” He said, “I have.” I said you’re a liar and you know it. I said I certainly would not be giving them candy if I knew that.


He threatened to take me to court on Tuesday, I told him go ahead. I said to him at least three times, it’s 7 o’clock the judge says it’s my time to talk to the boys and I want to talk to the boys. He said he wouldn’t let me speak to them unless I called exactly at 7. he said I had called at 7:15 the other day and he let me talk to them. That’s the day I was on the train with no reception and I was panicking cause it was past 7 and I didn’t think he would answer. Thinks he’s in control of everything.


He also said, I’m taking you to court for an emergency hearing on Tuesday, you’re going back on supervised visits, and you’ll have to pay another $1000 in lawyers’ fees. I said no, Douglas, you will be paying the attorney fees cause you are the one fighting and not cooperating. Don’t you remember when the judge pointed at you and said, “If I suspect you are keeping those boys from their mother, you are going to have to deal with me.” He responded with “he didn’t say that last time, did he?” what an idiot!!


He also had an issue because he saw missy at the mall. He told mom, “you tell her if I see Missy here again, I will not leave the boys here” He brought it up with me too after lying about the boys’ health. I said, “I cannot control who I run into at the Victorville mall and neither can you.” He lied again and said, “that’s not true, the boys said she was there before.” He is so desperate. I know for a fact those boys are not going to lie and say they have seen Missy at the mall before yesterday. You cannot believe one word out of that man’s mouth. It’s really sad.


I told him in a very, very stern voice, there is nothing you can do to keep me out of those boys’ lives, I am never going away, I am never, ever leaving them. Nothing you can do will stop me, I don’t care who you make them call mommy.


I ended up hanging up on him, I kept saying, it’s 7 and the judge says it’s time for me to talk to the boys and I want to talk to the boys. I already told the boys at the mall that I would call them on Monday. So that was okay. I don’t need to or have to listen to that man’s bullying.


I thought about saying steven’s remark about the reason why he can’t look at the pictures on the disc I sent him was because his daddy was too busy looking at nasty stuff on the computer. And how matthew said, yea I saw it and I saw eww ucky. But I’m not putting them in the middle like he does. If he knew that they would get scolded. I can’t have that, I will be the one to take all the blame for getting them back, not the children’s accusations.


Fucking asshole, I don’t want to hate him, he is so unbearable to me. I can’t believe he is still that angry with me. I refuse to stress out on the boys calling his stupid girlfriend “mommy” he makes them do that just to try to hurt me. I will not allow it. I wish he would be that way.

There are two major types of diabetes. In type 1 (fomerly called juvenile-onset or insulin-dependent) diabetes, the body completely stops producing any insulin, a hormone that enables the body to use glucose found in foods for energy. People with type 1 diabetes must take daily insulin injections to survive. This form of diabetes usually develops in children or young adults, but can occur at any age. Type 2 (formerly called adult-onset or non insulin-dependent) diabetes results when the body doesn’t produce enough insulin and/or is unable to use insulin properly (insulin resistance). This form of diabetes usually occurs in people who are over 40, overweight, and have a family history of diabetes, although today it is increasingly occurring in younger people, particularly adolescents.
Diabetes can occur in anyone. However, people who have close relatives with the disease are somewhat more likely to develop it. Other risk factors include obesity, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and physical inactivity. The risk of developing diabetes also increases as people grow older. People who are over 40 and overweight are more likely to develop diabetes, although the incidence of type 2 diabetes in adolescents is growing. Diabetes is more common among Native Americans, African Americans, Hispanic Americans and Asian Americans/Pacific Islanders. Also, people who develop diabetes while pregnant (a condition called gestational diabetes) are more likely to develop full-blown diabetes later in life.
Your healthcare team will encourage you to follow your meal plan and exercise program, use your medications and monitor your blood glucose regularly to keep your blood glucose in as normal a range as possible as much of the time as possible. Why is this so important? Because poorly managed diabetes can lead to a host of long-term complications — among these are heart attacks, strokes, blindness, kidney failure, and blood vessel disease that may require an amputation, nerve damage, and impotence in men.
People with diabetes frequently experience certain symptoms. These include:
• being very thirsty
• frequent urination
• weight loss
• increased hunger
• blurry vision
• irritability
• tingling or numbness in the hands or feet
• frequent skin, bladder or gum infections
• wounds that don't heal
• extreme unexplained fatigue
